ECC office team

The team of the European Capital of Culture 2029 Office is in charge of developing the application for the title of ECC2029 for the city of Katowice and the entire Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis.
The scope of the team’s work also includes:

– organization of consultations, workshops and expert panels for cultural cadres, in the field of creating cultural policy of the GZM,
– organization of walks through the districts of Katowice, as part of the “Share a district” series, which are aimed at collecting stories and information from residents for the emerging application for ECC2029,
– developing, together with an external company selected in a tender, a cultural development plan for the Upper Silesian-Zagłębi Metropolis on the basis of extensive social research coordinated by the office,
– preparation of the Congress of Culture, aimed at cultural personnel from the entire metropolitan area of the GZM,
running a website and social media under the KatowiceESK2029 slogan.
